My name is Manoah Salampessy, born and raised in Breda, and I have been living in Amsterdam since 2016. When I was growing up, I've spent a lot of time with my family in Vught, and I recall my grandfather sharing the same interest in photography. He was always there with his camera, and a bag full of films, never to miss a shot. My parents believe that's where I got it from. After purchasing my first analog camera on a flea market in 2012, I wasn't really familiar with analog photography. I've had some lessons during art class about aperture and shutter speeds, but that was it. After experimenting with my new old camera, I found out that it was in quite good condition, especially since it's an old Zenit-E from 1978. Apparently it was designed for the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Unfortunately I stopped experimenting after a while, but I recently rediscovered my love for analog photography. That's when I started picking up my camera again and I would like to show the world what I see through my lens.
